I Love Running
According to a lot of fitness enthusiasts, running is the best form of exercise to date. It is the most effective form of exercise for losing weight and it also benefits the entire body. However, even though it is known as the best form of exercise, people should still be aware that it is still required for them to execute the exercise properly. Aside from the aspect of execution, it is also important to integrate it into your daily life so that it becomes a regular activity.
When it comes to the most efficient type of running, this is where interval or alternate training comes in. This involves several minutes of doing some running which is followed by more relaxing types of exercise. An example of this is running vigorously for up to 5 minutes and after that, waling for the next 15 minutes. A cycle like this can be done for about two or three times, depending on your preference. Most people are not aware that this strategy is really good for losing weight over a very short period of time. However, if you feel that you will not last for 5 minutes running vigorously, you can first start with a smaller duration of time like half a minute and then walking for 5 minutes. Believe it or not, if your body gets used to this cycle, your stamina will become stronger that will allow you to execute longer running time.
It is also advisable that when you do this technique in running, you run along a road and not in a treadmill. The reason for this is because when you run on a treadmill, your body will just be using the stored fat in the body as your energy. On the other hand, when you run along a road, you will be using your entire body mass to execute the exercise properly.
Whether you are overweight or just wanting to lose a few extra pounds, you can commit yourself to running because it can really cause significant benefits. In addition to this, the rest of your body will also benefit by become stronger and more toned because of the pressure that it has to undergo.
